To all of you that watched my One hour Special, Thank You! I cannot possibly answer all the emails I got afterwards, but I really appreciate you taking time to sift thru the miasma of entertainment choices and stumbling onto mine.
A few comments: If you watch the pre-midnight airing, any foul language or sexual references were censored via an annoying bleep.
After 12 a.m., they air the unedited, uncensored version, because people who don’t want to hear the word “hard”, “going down”, and “dick” all fall asleep as if by pixie dust at midnight.
I was disappointed because, a: I found them distracting, and b: the hypocrisy of censoring a 50 year old man who’s delivering anecdotes peppered with a few curse words, yet the Network had no problem running 4 minute commercials of barely-legal teen girls french kissing and pulling their tops up to show their perky tits.
These “Girls Gone Wild” commercials were aired every commercial break, ad nauseum, yet I was bleeped for saying “hard”, “going down”, and “dick”. All the same words that immediately come to mind when watching “Girls Gone Wild” commercials.
I personally think the “Girls Gone Wild” franchise is the most offensive thing shown on television.
Oh well, it’ll give me material for my “failure of Feminism” segment in my next show…..
